A refreshing take on banking

Communication from Triodos about how my money is used is clear and makes me feel like I’m part of something fair and thoughtful. Refreshing in these times where unsustainable growth is often marketed as the only way to go- I like how Triodos is prepared to challenge this narrative. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2025

A bank for the future

"Earth care, people care, future care": this mantra sums up my personal values and also those of Triodos bank. Consistently rated as the most ethical bank by Ethical Consumer magazine, Triodos is at the forefront of work to halt the climate and ecological emergency. Banking has to be about future-proofing and Triodos has consistently shown that they are years ahead of other banks in this regard. We are in a time when we cannot set good finances against good planet sense, a false dichotomy that almost every other bank held, and many persistently cling to. No money to war

I don't want my money to be responsible for the death and destabilisation of people and regions. Nor can my investments and gains have a negative impact on my children's future. Reviewed on: 15th January 2022

Fully satisfactory experience

As an internet bank the system was allowed to settle down and is now being upgraded and modernised to improve appearance and functionality. I have had no problems. If I have made an error the telephone help has been courteous, friendly and efficient, and the administrative changes needed following the death of my wife eleven months ago were dealt with quickly and in kindly fashion. Peace of mind

I have been with Triodos now for over 6 years. I have peace of mind that my money is being ethically. This helps me sleep at night. Also if I ring them up they are really helpful and fast! I love em! Reviewed on: 15th January 2022

Great ethical bank

Great customer service all ethical no worries about investments in unethical things like war or fossil fuel which all other banks do. I don't want to be involved in investing in destroying this world through other unethical banks that's why I choose Triodos Reviewed on: 15th January 2022

I chose Triodos for my current account as soon as current account were available. I am impressed by how well thought through their approach to ethical banking is. The best eco-social-bank there is!

I waited a long time for Triodos current account and associated MasterCard to be available. Before that I was a Barclays customer, and never look back. Triodos is based on sound principles, you can see where the money is invested and the customer service has always been excellent Would highly recommend. Reviewed on: 15th January 2022
