A refreshing take on banking

Communication from Triodos about how my money is used is clear and makes me feel like I’m part of something fair and thoughtful. Great bank, great ethics

Friendly customer service staff are available when I’ve needed them, but most of the time things just tick over nicely. Switching to Triodos is the Best financial decision I have

I had been wanting to change to an ethical bank for a number of years. After a fair bit of research Triodos seemed to be the one that fitted my hopes best. However as someone who had not changed bank in over 30 years I was extremely anxious .My experiences with my old bank had been extremely good personally, but I knew that for many communities in other parts of the world it had lots of negative aspects not least on the environment. I was worried that there was no physical bank and that I would find it difficult having to do all my banking on line. I need not have worried. The customer service via the telephone has been fantastic. Amazingly I have found the phone app brilliant too Really easy to use accessible and well laid out.But best of all I now have total confidence that I am not contributing to any of the deeply negative aspects of more traditional banks and that my money is now working for the greater good with no negative impacts on the world. Finally when I go shopping I use my debit card with pride. I now know that a great bank with great personal service can be a force for good. Reviewed on: 14th February 2021

Making money work for the commmon good

I moved to Triodos bank last year as I trust this bank to use my money in ways that promote social and environmental justice. I believe the banking system has the capacity to transform the world to bring about vital change to combat climate change and injustices across the world. I no longer am willing to use financial services that underwrite, lend to or support fossil fuel industries, arms and munitions companies, other companies that pay scant regard to social justice and environmental impacts. So Triodos stands out as a leader in promoting responsible banking. I love it's values and it's lending policies. Just to add I've found the bank and its staff these last few months to be efficient, professional and extremely helpful in dealing with my queries.
