TSB couldn't organise the proverbial. They have never recovered from the massive computer cock-up last year. Indeed the service and facilities have got much worse overall. For example, something as simple as printing off a list of a customer's Direct Debits/Standing Orders can no longer done in the branch - why?. Another: despite my wife and I both being named on our joint account, only my name shows up on a statement printed from on-line banking. Thus, how does one prove to another financial institution that it IS a joint account, when they ask for a PDF bank statement? And now, every time I try and log into my accounts (any of them - business or personal), I have to go through being sent a One Time Code, despite being told on the screen that if I go through the 'Trusted Device' procedure, this will stop? (I know all banks will have to adopt O.T.C.s by law soon, but why offer a current alternative that won't work?). BTW, I have written this while waiting on the 'phone for TSB customer services to answer - it's been over three quarters of an hour - "we'll be with you soon". I don't think so! If I had the time I would transfer all of our TSB accounts elsewhere. In fact, it's getting to the stage that it might take less time to do that than continue with all the problems TSB are causing. My advice to anyone looking for even the minimum service and function from a bank is, don't bother with TSB. Reviewed on: 8th June 2020

Tsb scam

TSB Scam Very very bad service and they report account to hmrc even if your account is clear and no issue. They freeze your account and using your money for their business . Be aware TSB scam Date of experience: 20 July 2023 Reviewed on: 11th September 2023

Worst bank to do business with

Being banking with this bank for sometime now. You get no support when unauthorise payment taken from your account.. No benifit as a business customer. Worst bank to take your business. Honestly the most patronising, and unsupportive business bank i have ever dealt with. Dissapointing at every turn. If you run a small business and have any ambition, do not bank with TSB, their beaurocracy and structure is not set up in any way to emphathise abd support small business owners. Avoid at all costs! Worst Bank Ever

Customer service is appalling and you will never get answers to any questions you ask and they will never put you through to a manager who can answer your questions. I’ve had my business cards blocked 4 times in 2 months. This is without no apparent reason. It takes me over an hour to get them unblocked and I have to answer the same stupid question to more than 2 people before getting transferred to the right person. Today was so frustrating when a few transactions were blocked and had to be put on hold for over an 1hour 45 minutes, just to be told that I will be issued with a brand new card! My current card is not due to expire. I asked why and all I got told is ‘I don’t Know’ . I asked to speak to the manager and got told they were not available, I requested a call back and explained this keeps happening and I had even made a formal complaint which didn’t ever get resolved. I was told TSB managers don’t ring the customer back and I would have to try to call them again. TSB needs to be shut down! Reviewed on: 26th June 2023

Trustworthy bank, technology can be improved

I'm generally happy with my business account at TSB. I've experienced friendly customer service, the rates and correspondence have been good. What I'd like to see improved is the technology side of the internet banking. Since the updates to the website a few months ago, I've been having trouble with connecting my cloud bookkeeping solution to TSB. The link between the two keeps breaking, which means I often have to spend time to renew the connection. It worked fine for years in the past. Reviewed on: 14th March 2023

Just disappointing

I'm being harassed by tsb regarding a business I have not been associated with for 2 and a half years despite attempting to resolve for 2 years. Complete failure of their systems and can't explain how disgusted I am with them as a banking institution. Every communication I receive triggers panic attacks and I can't encourage people to avoid them more strongly Reviewed on: 15th February 2023

Very slow and inefficient

Simply dreadful

Have had business account with them for few years and things are worse now than they were at the start. Who's in charge here??! The most basic and simple of requests or tasks an absolute nightmare to complete. Takes ages to get through by phone and then you're faced with agents that just want to be as unhelpful as difficult as possible and keep you on hold for 30mins presumably thinking you'll hang up and give up! Wrong. Complaint filed (another one). Absolute joke of a bank. Reviewed on: 7th October 2022
