Nothing great and nothing bad

I applied on thimbl and Vanquis and got accepted on both however was told I would only get the Vanquis card which is a bit unusual however apart from that set up and everything else is fine, the apr isn’t the lowest and you don’t get and rewards or points but that is expected with a card towards people with bad credit. I went with Vanquis to try and sort out my finances and I'm happy to say that it worked. My credit score was low as I really had no credit history, Vanquis helped me to change this and I now have a score in the 800's. I have only missed a payment twice and it was more to do with forgetting, rather than not being able to. the Customer Service team contacted me, at which point I made my payment and I was never charged or penalised. The second time was for the same reason, so I got a text and was able to make the payment via the app, immediately. I've always found them very helpful. Reviewed on: 3rd May 2024

Vanquis are a good company, they are there if you have a problem or want to talk about your account. They are very polite, and notify you of your account, balances of how much you owe. Paying through my bank is very easy, even if you can not pay the whole amount in one go. I pay quite a bit to bring the account down, and because of that the interest is not so huge. I like Vanquis very much, the credit card is there when I need something that is hard to buy any other way Reviewed on: 3rd May 2024

Best credit card company out there

I have used Vanquis for a few years now, the app is really easy to use and navigate. Then the staff are so helpful. They helped me with my money when struggling. I never once felt judged either. Reviewed on: 3rd May 2024
