Very Happy! to apply for and came th...

The card initially was easy to apply for and came through very quickly. It started with a lower credit limit but gradually increased which is useful as I am currently refurbing the house. I normally try to pay off the balance every month but i have used it more recently. This is not a problem as you can pay more through the app which is instantly credited to the account. Again this is a useful feature as I’ve found with other cards can take days to clear. Overall I’m very happy with the service and I favour this card over others. Thank you! Large interest rates.

I like having a credit card for ease of unexpected payments before payday or larger purchases that aren't budgetted for at that time however the large interest charges make it almost impossible to get your balance back down to a manageable number and there is no help form Vanquis with this by lowering interest or freezing for a few months to allow you the chance to get on top of things. Once I've managed to pay mine off I will be closing my account because of this. Reviewed on: 17th April 2025
