Don't always believe

Money tooken for house valuation and it is our fault that we didn't wait for the answer first. But customer advisor was saying "no need to woried all should be okay, all looks good". Declined because of that there is gaps for last 4 years working (it is not true). Money for deposit are from student finance (Not true as well). Not even given a chance to prove that that it is not true. "You are in risk beacuse of Covid-19". So why giving a hope.. I do not recommended Reviewed on: 16th July 2020

Great Service & Customer Care

As a first time buyer with a self build mortgage on a renovation (could I tick any more tedious boxes) the Vernon were I think the only company who would offer me a mortgage! Covid happened, we had delays & they were fantastic, patient & approachable. As they’re a smaller company I could always be sure I’d be able to speak to someone on the phone if needed. I didn’t hesitate to remortgage with them once i had completed our build & the remortgage was a straight forward, quick & painless process. Reviewed on: 25th March 2024

Customer service is great.

Customer service is great. When I called to organise a regular over-payment on my mortgage the phone was answered by a real human, not an automated 'press 1 press 2'. My query was dealt with quickly by a friendly member of the team. Can't fault them. Reviewed on: 25th March 2024

trying to find a mortgage when you are getting old

trying to find a mortgage when you are getting old is disturbingly complex and often leads nowhere. But Vernon accepted immediately and, realising my pension is £10.000 a month and continues even after my death, Vernon accepted very quickly. I was up and running in a very short time. Since then I have been amazed and satisfied with Vernon's non-bureaucratic and thus speedy management of my case. Reviewed on: 25th March 2024
