Don't always believe

Money tooken for house valuation and it is our fault that we didn't wait for the answer first. But customer advisor was saying "no need to woried all should be okay, all looks good". Declined because of that there is gaps for last 4 years working (it is not true). Money for deposit are from student finance (Not true as well). Not even given a chance to prove that that it is not true. "You are in risk beacuse of Covid-19". So why giving a hope.. I do not recommended Reviewed on: 16th July 2020

A Comfortable, Hassle Free Experience

I changed my mortgage to a RIO (Retirement Interest Only) mortgage. From the point of enquiry through to completion the Vernon mortgage team clearly explained the mortgage and fully supported me throughout with a dedicated advisor available to answer any questions I had. I was never under any pressure, time constraint or influence to make my decision. Vernon made choosing a mortgage a pleasure not a chore. Reviewed on: 13th January 2026

Down to earth

I have always been pleased with being able to talk to Vernon staff on the phone. The advisers have a down-to-earth, friendly approach and explain any changes to payments, for example, with clarity. Excellent face to face service.
