Application for 2nd card ridiculously bureaucratic

Opened account as I fly to USA regularly and so wanted to collect points for flights. Needed 2nd card for husband. We have been married for 20 years and lived at same address. Have joint cards with Amex and mortgage etc. on the electoral roll and both gave good credit ratings. They want you to send your passport and driving license or verified copy signed by civil servant, actuary etc. done all that despite time consuming and over the top. They didn’t need that info for me to open the card account for myself so why is it needed fir additional card holder? Now claim not good enough quality copy so need additional or original docs. 20 mins on phone to find this out. Done with it now. Not worth it. Taken off my Apple Pay and will stop using the account. Good banking app and competitive fees

Really good banking app and easy to understand fees and various features. Also really good balance transfer rates which helped to pay off my debt. Reviewed on: 5th April 2025

Disgusted with fees

Purchased a product from an overseas seller and while I understand there are international transaction fees I wasn't expecting $130 for a computer to change one currency to another! It's not like they are paying someone a wage to do it. It's a computer to another computer. My nab debit card is international fee free so it really makes you wonder how a company like virgin can rip people off and yet nab bank can absorb the fee. Both cards are no annual fee so I don't understand. But I will be closing the account and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Stay away from them. Reviewed on: 11th March 2025

Please don’t use This card

My card got hacked so I cancelled the card. Asked for a new card to be sent out . Card was sent to the wrong address, when I contacted them to ask where my card was they wouldn’t tell me the address it was sent to. They just said it wasn’t sent to the address I asked. I Tried the same process again giving them my address 3 times making sure they had the correct address. Again the same thing happened, I’ve never had an issue receiving mail at this Address, it’s now been one month no card. Tried several times to resolve the problem and the consultants were of no help whatsoever. This card has a few good things going for it in the rewards program but thats about it. This is the first review I’ve ever wrote custom service is the worst, once your card is locked from being hack you cannot access to see any transactions. I wanted to cancel my card and pay out the balance but couldn’t access my profile to double check the transactions. End of the day worst experience cannot recommend this card whatsoever Reviewed on: 10th February 2025

If you have a credit card and an an app but are lock...

If you have a credit card and an an app but are locked out of your account they are not open 24/7 to unlock your app, not even on a Sunday. If u are in a tight spot rubbish, I was absolutely 100% sure I had used the right password - my wedding anniversary been married 26 years and now locked out went online to try and log in there and not 100% sure of password and now locked out - chose a company with 24/7 customer service please, looking to switch , was messed around on phone told incorrect information ie was open 24/7 so wasted a lot of time ! International transaction fee?

International transaction fee? $170? Wow! No fine line when this card would charge you international transaction fee. The charged me for $145 annual fee - used this card for less than a month and happily cancelled it. Will never ever use Virgin Money again! Highly not recommended!!!! Reviewed on: 15th November 2024
