I recently carried out a balance transfer to my virgin card. It was so easy. It was all done online, and within an hour, the balance was showing on my virgin account and my other provider was credited within 24 hours. amazingly clear and easy. Reviewed on: 31st May 2017

Simple, competitive

In the year I have used this credit card, I have encountered no problems or had any cause to contact the bank. The app is very easy to use and rates were competitive at the time of application. Recommend. Reviewed on: 31st May 2023

Credit Card limit decreased

Good Morning been on to Virgin so they know this is coming, Two weeks ago I took money out the credit card for my sons birthday, Not much to be honest but according to the team it highlighted critical activity on my CC so took my limit and decreased it by 6700, Spoke to an advisor who said sorry cannot do anything about it I need to contact virgin by post with an appeals letter, I am like you having a laugh, Never late with a payment never missed any paid more to keep limit down now shocked to have lost a limit due to taking money out at a ATM there is nothing in the terms and conditions dictating this, Disgusted by this Reviewed on: 26th May 2023

Great card - but phone line needs improvement.

I really like the card but I had to call them today. My word - there are numerous recorded messages. I reckon it took 6 or 7 minutes before I could speak to anyone. They then told me to call back because I got the security questions wrong! I'll do it another day I think. Reviewed on: 14th May 2023

Can't make payments

On 6th April, throughout the afternoon UK time, I have been trying to make a payment. Rejected for no reason. This is the fourth time I've had trouble paying this company (using that company's app on my phone) in the past few months. The first two times I had to ring up, remove a block, and try again. The third time (15th March) I asked them to add the company to the safe list, which they agreed. Payment still failed and went through the whole process again on the 16th, finally getting the payment through. Today, have tried seven times and been on the phone with the fraud department for an hour, passed from pillar to post. No one has any idea why the payment won't go through. IT IS TO AN EXTREMELY REPUTABLE FINANCIAL INSTITUTION, AN ESTABLISHED UK BRAND. There is no reason to have this much difficulty. Reviewed on: 6th April 2023

Choice of card and great APR

My application with Virgin money for my credit card was quick and simple, plus you get to choose a card design which makes it feel more personal! The APR on my card is great and it helps me balance my money each month whilst protecting my credit rating as payments are so easy to make as the App offers really great functionality Reviewed on: 6th April 2023
