I had a Clydesdale Bank Credit Card for Decades and A new Virgin Money card was forced upon me as the Bank was enforcing new Virgin Money cards. I made a couple of errors when the new card arrived by forgetting key questions. I am a visual Dyslexic. It happens. Then the you know what hit the fan with the new Imperious company looking after Virgin Money Credit Cards. I might like to add, my Credit Card was in credit to the tune of £59. odds. Not thousands in dept. Then the address the card was registered to was a problem, it was my work. I produced all of the evidence and 29 documents from Virgin Money addressed to me at my work address, they also emailed me at my works address frequently but that was still an issue for them. Please be extremely cautious with this inhumane organisation, and if you at all have special needs, go elsewhere. I contacted the CEO of Virgin multiple times and this was useless also. I am getting my money back, but it has taken over 12 weeks and they are still unhappy. I will never have another Virgin money Credit Card, I am a Businessman who requires a bank that is more open and willing to support customers. The disturbing thing is my account was in credit. But they kept whinging about reporting to credit sources. I was in credit not debit. For over a decade my Credit card was addressed to my working address. Caveat Emptor. This bank has one of the worst service out there. We have banked with them for over 65 years. The credit card cancels transactions without notification. Things like holiday insurance or taxis to the airport the night before you leave. Then deny it and cant find phones calls you have made to them. Yet acknowledge that you did make a call but mysteriously cant find it. Don't Use them. Reviewed on: 21st August 2025

Excellent card service on lost account

I found out about a dormant account that was discontinued more than 10 years ago. It had a balance due to me on the card. I had no card details available other than whatvwas avail le on my credit report. I made a written request, and a agent called me. After a few security questions, he promised to transfer the amount into my current account. Thie money was deposited on the same day. Well done Reviewed on: 12th June 2025

Good banking app and competitive fees

Disgusted with fees

Purchased a product from an overseas seller and while I understand there are international transaction fees I wasn't expecting $130 for a computer to change one currency to another! It's not like they are paying someone a wage to do it. It's a computer to another computer. My nab debit card is international fee free so it really makes you wonder how a company like virgin can rip people off and yet nab bank can absorb the fee. Both cards are no annual fee so I don't understand. But I will be closing the account and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Stay away from them. Reviewed on: 11th March 2025
