Truly customer focused

I’ve been with one other car insurer but always find myself coming back to admiral. I’ve been with the sister companies aswell and all I can say is that they appear to be customer focused. I haven’t yet had to make a claim but I’m sure that the claim experience would match up to the current service I am receiving. What shocked me was when they made a pledge to reimburse everyone £25 - this shows that they are not choosing to profit on the amount of money saved due to COVID. They want to reward their customers for sticking to the guidelines (which clearly showed was being adhered to via the companies outgoings on claims) Reviewed on: 2nd August 2020

Avoid at all costs

It's been two months since my car was damaged outside my garage as a result of a crime that occurred. It has still not been fixed. I was told that this would not impact my no claims bonus as the accident that occurred was not my fault and was told I would get a letter to evidence this. I just recieved the letter and it says the complete opposite. My insurance is now up for renewal and they have asked me to pay £1700, which is an increase of more than £500!!! Absolutely shocking. I will be switching insurance providers and urge others to AVOID Reviewed on: 1st June 2023

No repair network

3 months after my accident and my car is still not repaired. There seems to be a problem with their repair network and I’m not the only one who’s been waiting this long. I’ve called multiple times just to be palmed off and told to wait for a repair date that never comes. Avoid at all cost ! Reviewed on: 1st June 2023

Good but put the prices up

I was with Admiral for a year and had no issues with them. The time came to renew and the monthly direct debit went up. I then went to Compare the Market where I found a better deal (which happened to be the company I was with a year previous, before I signed up with Admiral). Reviewed on: 1st June 2023

Easy to use and great value

I have been with admiral for 3 years in total. When it came to renewing they doubled my premium but after getting a quote elsewhere and informing admiral they matched it and I paid the same two years running. Been pretty good to me. No problems

Had them for roughly two years. Not had any issues. I wasn't happy when it came to renewal but when I contacted them they made sure I left happy. They even called me back to ask how I found everything. Never made a claim but did get my windows fixed. It was a strait forward process and I can only recommend Reviewed on: 31st May 2023
