Aegon offered a Retiready Pension which was withdrawn for new customers from December 2023. For existing customers, it has a maximum service charge of 0.5% per year.

Pension lost Month on Month

I have a company pension with Aegon a my payments in = GBP £ 18795.00 current value GBP £ 14.365.00 they dont have a planb but just keep[ losing money month on month I have paid in GBP 365.00 in February and the fund has gone done again by GBP £ 700.00 this is a month on month loss for the last year. Absolutely no comments from my contact with them althouth they are still charging a handling fee ha ha ...... My advice is steer clear they are incompetent have no interest ( Pardon the pun ) and ignore all attempts to contact directy. Website inoperative

Customer online investment details has been down for 5 weeks - usual corporate email responses but now taking further. I find it unacceptable that this company have no sense to get the website up and running - appears to be no urgency. Reported this situation this morning rot the financial ombudsman - lots of very expensive but in effective senior management. Should we be concerned? Reviewed on: 30th September 2024

Do not use Aegon for your pension funds, advised they had paid my 25% tax free into my bank, kept checking bank account and not there, checked with bank and they advised no pending transactions from Aegon, now have to wait more business days for it to be investigated, so unprofessional this organisation Reviewed on: 13th May 2024
