Don't Do It

Before you consider taking out insurance with these thieves....stop....put your debit card down. Don't believe their "animal friends" nicey nicey name/image...these guys will whatever they can to not pay you the money you're owed. My dog has been left lame and in pain for nearly 2 months while I've had two different claims denied. I've now just had to bite the bullet and pay for it myself. I've had insurance with them for 4 years and never claimed a penny. Then when I need them... guess what, they try to wriggle out of paying and couldn't care less about your pet. Best advice I can give you is to direct debit the money you would pay to them monthly into a savings account and further down the line if/when you need it you will have a pot of money to at least lessen the burden Reviewed on: 2nd March 2021

Very good and simple

I feel that the insuramce jargon is kept to a minimum, there's so much choice available for amounts to insure your animals and also different excess options which can lower premiums which is great when things are a struggle at the moment. Fantastic, Prompt & Professional

I have insured my dog with Animal Friends since I got him as an 8week puppy. He’s now 8years old & I have had to use my insurance a couple of times due to ruptured ligaments in both back legs a year a part. Both times the adviser has been very friendly, understanding, supportive and professional. And making a claim has been hassle free & prompt straight to my Vets. Exceptional

I've had to make multiple claims due to my dog being on a lot of ongoing conditions. It's simple straight forward and quick to claim. Honest, fast and efficient.

If you're looking for a reliable pet insurance provider, look no further than Animal Friends. We have made several claims for the cost of investigations and an emergency procedure and Animals Friends have covered the policy allowance immediately communicating with both my vet surgery and myself via email and phone. Absolutely brilliant service at a very reasonable cost. The Joii virtual vet app is a great bonus too and one I have used several times, always receiving a call back within minutes and great advice from a real vet via video call. Prompt efficient service

A really responsive insurance service from joining through to solving problems. They were so kind when my beloved cat Mack had to have an operation and subsequently died. Nothing was too much trouble and claiming was a doddle. Reviewed on: 3rd August 2023

Great company

I've been a customer for a few years and up to this point not really needed to make any claims. However this year my dog is nearly 14 and has required ongoing vet treatment. With our vets support, claims have been made and the process appears seamless. Payments are made extremely quick and I can't value Animal Friends high enough.
