DO NOT PURCHASE CAR INSURANCE ONLINE FROM AVIVA.

DO NOT PURCHASE INSURANCE ONLINE FROM AVIVA. I got a policy online from Aviva, and l had 7 years No claims discount which was split between to cars, my personal and company car. They then rejected proof of No claims because it was part earned on a company. I accepted this conclusion. l then changed my policy only to include 4 years No claims, which increased my premium and l got new Policy. A week and half later l get an email saying my policy has been cancelled on grounds that l did not provide proof no claims discount. Which was incorrect as l send multiple evidence. As someone that’s been long term Aviva customer, l am extremely disappointed that l am unable to speak to a person, just constant emails from different people saying the same line “ Your policy has been cancelled, please get a new quote” no justification as to why my proof was incorrectly interpreted. Aviva Car insurance? Not for new cars owners...

Aviva Car insurance is not adequate for new cars owners. Even in the fully comprehensive insurance package, they have an extra excess fee in case you would like to take your brand new car into an unlisted repairer (unapproved by Aviva). But this is deceiving. It is no guarantee you will get the repair costs refunded. Even if you want to take your brand new car, still under warranty, to the Make of your car for repairs to avoid voiding the warranty, Aviva sets its right to not agree to such repairs. Comprehensive cover at a good price..

Comprehensive cover with few exclusions at a good price. Similar large companies with policies offering the same cover appear to be more expensive in comparison. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

repeatedly bombarded by texts and calls

after a car accident where no-one was injured I was bombarded by phone calls weekly to ask me to make a false claim for whiplash. Aviva published my personal details and said the only way to stop them was to make FALSE claim!!!! No wonder our insurance is high if they encourage us to lie. I reported it to the police who cant be bothered with such trivialities. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

I did a quote online but a few days later was unable to find. Called aviva and spoke to a lovely young lady who found my quote and progressed it to cover stage in a few minutes, cover was fully explained and all questions regarding my policy were answered. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024
