I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

Worst bank ever

3 month to apply for bounce back loan, 15 hours on the phone , two weeks after approval and still no funds. Staff unable to help. Two complaints ignored will be changing bank Reviewed on: 16th July 2020

Horrible bank

It's the most horrible bank.I being international student had a students account with Barclays.4 days ago it suddenly blocked my online banking n debit card without any reason.My every penny is legal n it blocked my money without caring for customers right.I will take the matter with UOB students guild n fight against the fake bank n ask UOB to consider it's branch at UOB. I have always found the staff helpful on site and on the phone. They have made my life banking with the so much easier. I love the Barclays app especially during Covid19 just an amazing back. Absolutely disgusted

I am absolutely disgusted with Barclays Bank and will be changing to another bank ASAP. I had my account scammed back in February and they took an large amount of it, I rang them that night about the case and they said I will get my money back in within 2 weeks... I am still waiting 4 months down the line. I have rang over 20 times about this and have either giving a number doesn’t work, been cut off or been told they can’t do anything.... you are my bank you should keep my money safe. I’m livid with Barclays and how they have treated me through this tough time. I would not recommend anyone to trust Barclays Bank with your money. Reviewed on: 30th June 2020
