Very quick service, smooth and efficient service

Very quick service. From application to mortgage offer just under 4 weeks, this at a time when all institutions were inundated with applications to beat the labour stamp duty increases. I had been advised that there would be a delay because of the SD increases so was pleasantly surprised to receive my offer in such a timely manner. Tim was especially helpful at the application stage. I have now had notice of completion. All in all a very smooth and pleasant experience Well done BIBS, impressed with you. Bath Building Society gave us a break

We have had 3 mortgages with Bath Building Society over the last 35 years and are now mortgage free. They were the only company who would listen to us when buying our first home and won’t forget that they trusted us and provided us with that first rudder to the housing market. Clear and efficient communication

Superb customer service! Thank you!

I've had a mortgage with Bath building society for 15 years . I was made redundant just before Christmas 2011 and was out of work for 3 whole months and couldn't pay the mortgage. When I contacted Bath they were very decent about it and when I did find another job they were flexible about the repayments. Above all they didn't make me feel humiliated like I was begging which I couldn't say for my own bank or other providers. Well done Bath and thank you, your kindness was not forgotten!
