New Mortgage rate swap!

My Buy to let mortgage was coming to the end of its fixed period and Bath were very quick in contacting me, helping me select a new product and implemented this very quickly so that I could benefit from the better rate as soon as possible! Great service. Reviewed on: 25th June 2025

Great Service

Very happy with mortgage application process and service from Tim (mortgage advisor). Competitive rate and advised of an alternative cheaper product that met my needs. Only negative was the old fashioned paper application form. Reviewed on: 2nd June 2025

Very quick service, smooth and efficient service

Very quick service. From application to mortgage offer just under 4 weeks, this at a time when all institutions were inundated with applications to beat the labour stamp duty increases. I had been advised that there would be a delay because of the SD increases so was pleasantly surprised to receive my offer in such a timely manner. Tim was especially helpful at the application stage. I have now had notice of completion. All in all a very smooth and pleasant experience Well done BIBS, impressed with you. A listening approach

My mortgage application could have been declined because the nature of the property doesn't fully fit with the Society's lending criteria. However, there are many positives about the property - and at every stage, Society colleagues were prepared to look at potential snags in the light of the bigger picture, to arrive at a balanced and considered view on whether a mortgage could be offered in my overall circumstances.
