We have held savings accounts of many types for many years. All have kept to their promises. The staff are well trained and efficient. Very professional in person or on the phone. Communications are timely allowing for decisions to be made. Reviewed on: 22nd February 2024

In branch service review

The best thing about Bath Building Society is the lovely staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They always have time to chat to you. Also have dog biscuits which my dog loves. The best building society in Bath. Also they sell books. Reviewed on: 18th July 2025

BBS' Internet service

When initially trying to use BBS' Internet services (~ a year ago) I found the experience quite annoying. Recently I had problems getting the App to work but Chris was very patient & helpful & we sorted the problem out over the phone. The day before I had emailed the internet team about the problem but received no acknowledgement let alone a considered reply. Reviewed on: 16th July 2025

I have been a customer with the Society for over 30...

I have been a customer with the Society for over 30 years and during this time have got to know the staff in the branches very well. I go to the branch in Moorland Road as find it easier to park and it’s always a pleasure to see Rachel who is always helpful and patient which means a lot. Reviewed on: 15th July 2025

Helpful and efficient Customer Assistant

I contacted BBS by e mail and was assisted very promptly by Charlotte Townsend . She was extremely helpful in sending the requested statement and tax advice regarding the Trust Account I hold, and has given me the contact number to speak to her regarding setting up on line access which I had been unable to do as it is not a personal account.
