Love the cashback

I absolutely love my Chase account which I use for all my spending because of the great cashback feature. I have other accounts which offer monthly cashback incentives with selected providers, but that means having to scroll through the deals every month to see if there's anywhere I'm likely to be spending. My Chase account has simple, ongoing, 1% cashback on just about everything, so long as I meet the pay-in minimum. No fuss, no messing about, just reliable cashback on pretty much everything I need to spend on, so it's the only card in my Apple wallet. I also really like the app, which is obviously designed around the user (unlike some of the legacy bank apps, which are designed to replicate what they've been doing for fifty years). Terrible support

App is simple to use.

App is simple to use. I like the rounding up when I spend and that I am informed promptly when I make a transaction. I used the card confidently on holiday. Communication is good and is polite so that I feel valued unlike communication with my previous bank which was difficult to achieve. I wish I had discovered Chase earlier. Another big plus is the 24/7 customer support. Whenever I’ve had a question, I’ve received quick and helpful responses via in-app chat. Security also seems to be a top priority — the app uses biometric login and gives you control over your card (you can freeze/unfreeze it instantly, which is great peace of mind). Overall, Chase UK combines modern features, smart saving tools, and real value for money. Great product when it launched, not so good now

This was a great product when it started because the debit card gave 1% cashback on the vast majority of spending, but recently they restricted the cashback to supermarkets, fuel, and travel, so this is a serious loss. Reviewed on: 21st April 2025
