Terrible experience

Someone ran into me, my first accident in over 15 years. It's been headache since the start, trying get through on line sat for 40 minutes only to be cut off another 30 minutes on hold. Eventually spoke to some one. But wasn't that simple I had to get my car off the drive so I could take My courtesy car, but told had wait 2 weeks for doneobe to collect it, rang and rang and after phone calls a car transporter collected it. Finally got it back only to find knocking on the side that was hit. Called Churchill who tried to contact the garage but couldn't get through and told me the number and I would have to keep trying to contact them Returned to garage who informed me there was a issue but who would have to wait several days to see if they were willing to pay for the repair. I've contacted Churchill several times even complained but no one has got back to me. Reviewed on: 24th July 2023

Good cover but no loyalty perks

Stayed with Churchill Car Insurance for about 5 years. No problems whatsoever with cover or customer service, but that said I never had any cause to deal with their claims dept. Each year the renewal quotes increased and I'd phone up and they'd reduce it slightly...there was no discount for loyalty and the quotes for new customers were WAY below what they'd quote me as an existing customer. Eventually left, I told them why and they made no attempt to match their new customer quote. If you've money to throw away then a good company to go with, if you're on a budget look elsewhere. Good value

Car insurance

i found a quote online which was so easy and hassle free. Called them during the year to change my address and couldn't have been simpler! The lad on the phone was friendly and professional and new paperwork through within days. Would definitely recommend Churchill for car insurance ! Reviewed on: 15th August 2017

Avoid Robbers !!!!!!

I sold my car and was not getting a replacement car. I was charged £52.80 to do this. How these thieves can possibly justify a cost like that is beyond me. I am taking this up with the Ombudsman who will hopefully have an investigation into this outrageous cost. This company should be taken to court to justify the ridiculous cost. I would suggest to them to put a mask on the dog they have in there advert, it would sum the company up more accurately. Reviewed on: 6th August 2017

Helpful Customer Service

Great company with loads of options and when you need to change details they still charge but I found the fees more reasonable. The company are actually really easy to contact unlike other insurance companies also the staff are very helpful and explain things clearly. Would definitely recommend! Reviewed on: 23rd July 2017

Good Service and Affordable

Due to my unique job role I often find Car Insurance quotes can be quite expensive, especially after I've been with a company for a year and it's time to renew. Churchill were the first insurance company I've been with who offered me a reasonable discount even after adding No Claims Protection which I was very impressed with. They were very helpful when I changed address mid way through a policy too and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a small re-imbursement. Reviewed on: 19th July 2017

Easy to set up

I enquired with church hill after being given a quote through a comparison site. The person I spoke to was extremely helpful and then set up my insurance over the phone. Great customer service, quick and easy. Plus I got free breakdown cover for the year! Reviewed on: 18th July 2017
