Review of the Churchill Insurance, Car insurance:

Out of my 6 years of driving I will never ever be go...

Out of my 6 years of driving I will never ever be going back to Churchill let me run this down for you started with the company from July were now in November I've rang up 5 times over the last 4 months for them to tell me they have a IT problem and they will ring me back never heard nothing back decided to ring back for the last time In this November for them to tell me there's a defect with my insurance. After already taking a payment off me they then tell me they need to cancel my insurance start a new one and take another payment again in the same month with no refund after all I wanted was my no claims discount protecting adding on which I already added on from the start then once the insurance started they decided it wasn't protected after 4 months of IT issues they tell me oh we can now add protected no claims that they also confirmed I put it on in the first place to also say sorry for the amount of times ive called and no call back for them to turn around and say yes we can add it but need to cancel and take another payment with just a sorry. That's my last time using this company and stay away never had a issue with anyone else apart from these shocking Reviewed on: 21st November 2024

good value insurance

Easy to claim and no problems!

When a lorry reversed into my car and drove off all I had was the company name to go off. Churchill chased them up and did all the leg work for me and paid out on my insurance quickly. It was really easy and we didn't have to do anything. Reviewed on: 15th July 2017

Their price went down last year. They're ok. It's insurance, I hope I never have to claim.

Their price went down last year. That's something, I suppose. They're probably not the cheapest but, let's face it, shopping around to save a few quid here and there is sometimes a pain. And they have a cute advertising gimmick. Oh yes! Reviewed on: 15th July 2017

recommendable car insurance

Had to renew my car insurance as it had gone up tried churchill and they were much cheaper than my previous policy . I got breakdown cover as well it was very easy to do and my policys were sent really quickly so all in all a very fast efficient service . Reviewed on: 14th July 2017

Car Insurance

Absolutely amazing company, i've had my car insurance with them for 8 years now and if the the cost goes up for some reason they try to bring it down for me! Fast courtesy car and all the help you can get!! Highly recommended Reviewed on: 5th July 2017

Quick and Easy

I've been with Churchill for a while now and have multi-car, house and contents and pet insurance with them, as their prices are competitive. If a premium has risen and Churchill are challenged on it, then they are accommodating and usually will made a reduction. Reviewed on: 5th July 2017

Good Competative Price

Recently took out my car insurance with Churchill online. NO hassle, easy estimate, about £100 cheaper than anyone else and they had a special deal with £50 voucher and I also go free breakdown cover. I have been with them previously, their claims service is good as well. Reviewed on: 4th July 2017

Conned

Was told that I should get track box for my daughters car as it would reduce her insurance. The quote came back for renewal at £114 more when I asked why,I was told it was because my daughter had gone out in the eve. Again I said that does not reflect on her driving ability which I was led to believe the box tracked not areas and curfews. To which I was told you got a booklet explaining and I should have read it. We actually had no book a device with no instructions a web address to download the app. I think it's appalling that we were conned like this. We did not renew. And I also am insured with them till December and I will not renew. Reviewed on: 21st April 2017
