The staff greet you with a welcoming smile & are really kind & helpful. I have been a Darlington Building Society member for years & I’ve always been made to feel welcome. They don’t push you into anything that you might be unsure about, they give you as much information that they can & give you space, on your own terms to come to your own decision regarding any products that maybe of interest or use yourself. Competitive Products easy to setup. Communications keeps you well informed and updates with news regards both my account and the building society making sure your aware it’s more than a place to put your money. Reviewed on: 29th January 2026

Ease of access to appointments

Easy to make an appointment to review savings and personnel are very knowledgeable about the products available. The staff are very helpful, but let you make your own mind up about a product. Overall, I have always found the staff in my local branch to be very welcoming, polite and considerate and find my visits to the branch to be a very pleasant experience.
