I have been with Direct Line for 8 years now, and for the past 5 years, I have had a multi car insurance. Very competitive rates and great cover. Had the unfortunate accident at the end of last year. It was very straight forward when claiming. I was kept informed throughout. Best of all, all was done in a timely manner at a time to suit my needs. Great cover, great rates, great service. Easy to deal with, good value and professional

Been with direct line for 2 years now. Still beat the vast majority of competition on premium even when I was an existing customer. Friendly personable and professional staff on the phone. Reviewed on: 8th November 2015

No issues but nothing complicated

No reason to make a claim (other than a cracked windscreen) which is the real test; however, generally a good experience of buying, changing, renewing, etc. Staff are helpful and didn't have to wait ages to speak to an actual person. Reviewed on: 7th November 2015

Professional hassle free insurance

We bought multicar insurance and home contents insurance in one go with huge discounts. Worked out cheaper than buying the cheapest car insurance on price comparison sites. Just contacted them to report a bump in one of the cars and it all went very smoothly the call centre employee was obviously very knowledgeable and handled the call in a friendly and professional manor. I recently changed my car insurance after the company I was using hiked up my insurance for the coming year. Changing to direct line was really easy, did it all online. Everything they asked was clear and concise and I even got a discount as husbands car is already insured with Direct Line. Would recommend you get a quote from them if you are looking to renew. Free car hire added to my policy - yes!

I received a letter the other day from Direct Line informing me that free car hire in the event of my car being in the garage was now available to me at no extra cost ! This is great news. Reviewed on: 2nd September 2015
