Treating Customers fairly??!!

Appalling treatment of existing customer who has been trying to switch her mortgage onto a new repayment method nearly 2 months ago, Poor communication from the lender and still no indication of how long this will take? in the meantime the customer is being putting in a negative financial situation. Staff great, business poor. Avoid

The staff and desire to help is second to none, clearly well trained customer facing staff. However the internal processes and infrastructure is abysmally poor. Took us many months to confirm our mortgage deal, and 32 pieces of CDD to verify it. From then, overpayments follow an overly complicated process. I complained to the Ombudsman about our take-on, they ruled in our favour 6 months ago and recommended Dudley make payment. Since then, Dudley simply refuse to make payment, and are using every trick in the book to dodge their duties. Great staff, really poor running of their business. Would avoid at all costs given the competitive market and many other mtg providers. Not worth the hassle. Reviewed on: 10th June 2024
