Avoid at all cost

Cancelled insurance and hit with a ridiculous cancellation fee and now having to pay for insurance on a car I no longer have. They don't read out the full policy and just try to take as much money off you as they can. After having a renewal of around 50 odd £ they then started to take more than the agreed renewal price Reviewed on: 19th January 2022

Got hit by a foreign vehicle not my fault got the police involved they have all the evidence but still going to loose my claim bonus even though it’s not my fault every time I call I will have to wait for over one hour then I be passed from one department to another and every time I have to give my details all over again just to have an update so unprofessional Reviewed on: 12th January 2022

Horrible harassment

The person who crashed into me and claimed full responsibility had esure car insurance and they tried scheming and putting pressure on me to not use my insurance and gave me an ensentive of £100 and they would sort everything out. I didn't agree and they still had courtesy car company call me and from a garage to fix the damage on their behalf. If I didn't ask which insurance company they were calling on behalf from, they would have took my car without my say so or signing anything. Courtesy car paid for service - not provided

DO NOT BUY THEIR SERVICES!! When made the application online, there was an option for courtesy car service. I ticked the box and paid for the service. My car just broke down and when I called the company to ask for the courtesy car, they said that they only provide it if the car was involved in an accident. Of course that was not mentioned when bought the insurance!! This is a joke! Esure are a complete joke. Reviewed on: 6th January 2022

Useless!

They are happy to take your money but refuse to actually provide the service you pay for! I have been driving for 20 years and never made a claim in my life. My car was recently damaged during a bad storm with a rear window put through, cosmetic damage down the side of the car due to a falling tree and electrical damage of an as yet undiagnosed nature. After doing some research the electrical damage appears to have been caused by water ingress somewhere and after a few calls around was shaping up to be very expensive to have fixed, so I thought I would go through these clowns to have all the damage fixed in one go. After all that's what we pay for insurance for correct? So far they have had my car for 3 weeks and they are now refusing to fix or even diagnose the electrical fault or the cosmetic damage, arguing with me that they could not possibly have been caused by the falling tree or the storm! They where very happy to pay to have my entire roof repainted however, despite me not noticing any damage to the roof at all and certainly not reporting this. After arguing with a person over the phone who spoke to me like I was a child and basically calling me a liar, we are at a stage where they are telling me that it is my responsibility to have the electrical damage diagnosed and proven to be caused by the storm, and they are flat out refusing to repair the cosmetic damage caused by the falling tree! So basically I just had to pay £300 excess to have a rear window replaced, which I could have had replaced for £100 excess, and my roof repainted despite not even asking for this! My car is going to be returned to me next week, almost 4 weeks after having it collected, with the cosmetic damage that I actually reported and the electrical damage undiagnosed and not repaired... Avoid these absolute con artists at all costs. I shall be cancelling my policy with them at the end of this months payment. Reviewed on: 17th December 2021

AVOID AT ALL COST! If I could put 0 stars I would, I don’t even know how to describe these cowboys!!! It was easy to take the insurance out, they were quick to take the money, but… oh my, oh my, not sure where to start! So had a minor accident, I mean literally a small bump, which resulted in cracked bumper, called to make a claim, over an hour waiting time on phone! Lady picked up and took all the details, said that my car will be picked up by 3rd party company for valuation, they will decide if it’s repairable, total loss etc, explained that I will have to pay £250 excess once it goes for repairs. I’ve asked when I can get a courtesy car, which she has responded that garage will have to give me courtesy car when it will go for repairs. I have arranged a pick up, driver came and said that it could take up to 10 days to validate the car as they are quite busy, ok, so this means that I will potentially be without car for 10 days! So I decided to call insurance to ask for courtesy car earlier as it makes no sense. It turned out that the person who took my call, put this down as total loss, my car is 7 years old with cracked bumper (worth £8k), like seriously!!! Clearly they are fraud at the finest as policy documents state that in event of total loss they don’t have to provide with a courtesy car! When I have questioned this, the 2nd person on phone said that she’s not an engineer and can’t make a decision whets at total loss and what isn’t! But hers colleague was making that decision without seeing a damage on car!!!!! I was advised that this will have to go down as a complaint and manager will get in touch with me, I’m waiting for that to happen! AVOID, you will do yourself a favour!!!!!! Lied to on numerous occasions,

They wrote my car off and told me 2 weeks later when I traced it to York at an auction site still full of my possessions then they demanded I pay them insurance for a year on a car they own. Nobody takes responsibility and they keep you on line whilst they pass you about. Unfortunately I cannot say anything positive about them Reviewed on: 8th October 2021
