Esure - Awful Company

Terrible company. They added my old address to my account instead of my current one (which they got from my proof of no claims discount I sent them), then charged me £37 to change it. Then, almost a year later, (after they tried to auto-enrol me for another year, which I did not want); I find that they didn't change my address after all, so I've been unknowingly not covered this whole time, & they have the nerve to try to charge me again. When I said no to that, they cancelled my policy altogether, robbing me of my final 2 weeks of insurance with them. Horrible & rude staff. Greedy company who clearly have no idea what they are doing. Good service

I've stayed with Esure for two years now because they always provide the best deal. I recently upgraded to a newer car and they were really helpful and I didn't have to pay much more which was great. Definitely recommend. Reviewed on: 2nd June 2019

Absolute jokes!

Involved in a minor incident , third parties fault, dash cam Captured everything and proved they were to blame. However Esure couldn’t be bothered requesting the footage and would rather pay out for the third party punishing its customer of 8 years.. AVOID! Reviewed on: 23rd January 2019

DO NOOT GO WITH THEEEEM! EVEER!!!!

DO NOT, I REPEAT- DO NOT GO WITH THEM!!! I was Esure customer for 2 years. On 8th July 2018 my car was parked on a road while i was shopping and a drunk driver crushed/stopped in my car. Thankfully I was not in the car when this happened. It's been 5 and a half months since the accident and Esure hasn't closed the case yet because they haven't received money from the drunk driver's insurance! My insurance has to be renewed on 26.11.18- 4 days from today and i have signed up with a new insurance company. The new insurance company will charge me ridiculous amount on top of the original quote they gave me because according to the main insurance database i am at fault! I contacted Esure numerous times asking them to close the case because this is affecting me and i have to pay a lot more than what i am supposed to but they said they cant speed up the process and they will close the claim once they receive their money for the claim. I offered Esure to pay the extra cost to the new insurer but they refused! LET ME MENTION ONE MORE TIME THAT I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO FAULT FOR THE ACCIDENT AND I HAVE BEEN THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR 2 FULL YEARS! I will be taking this further- ombudsman and then court. I will not pay for someone else's mistakes and laziness! I have experienced a few nervous breakdowns while talking to them on the phone and i will make sure this is paid for! I will not sacrifice my health anymore for something i have 0 fault for and for organization which clearly don't care about their customers and most of their employees are too lazy to do their job properly. They love telling their customers they wouldn't be able to help! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SOMETHING THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT! Horrible and dishonest! I am speechless! Reviewed on: 22nd November 2018

Dishonest rude liars and thieves

Esure contacted me about renewal a slight reduction on the previous year I got in touch for a quote on some changes of circumstances which would result in my car being safer. Resulting in a even better reduction I then got in touch before my renewal date to make some changes as they’d then happened. They quoted me more than the original renewal quote! So i decided to leave as they’d been dishonest and the call operator was frankly rude. They didn’t value me as a customer enough to even offer to offer the original renewal quote! To top it all off they took the payment from my account 2 days after the renewal date! Without even sending me a email to confirm my cancelled contract! Avoid this company liars and now thieves. Avoid using eSure, as they may leave you uninsured without your knowledge.

Stopped by the police, and informed that my car appeared on their system to be uninsured. Told them I was with eSure, and they advised that I HAD been with eSure but that eSure had cancelled the policy. Had absolutely NO communication from eSure to say there was any issue, despite eSure having my address, e-mail and home and mobile telephone numbers. AND I’M NOT THE ONLY PERSON THAT eSure HAVE DONE THIS TO. After EVENTUALLY getting a response having emailed a couple of their senior people, they say that they DID try to contact me, but they cannot PROVE that they did. My job depends on me being insurable on the company’s insurance, and I will now lose my job as a result of eSure’s screwup. MY ADVICE IS TO USE A TRUSTWORTHY INSURANCE COMPANY - DO NOT USE eSure OR ANY OTHER INSURANCE COMPANY WITHIN THE eSure GROUP OF COMPANIES (which also includes Sheila’s Wheels), or you may find yourself uninsured without knowing. eSure are untrustworthy, and do not care about their customers once they have initially signed up.
