Honestly a really good bank

After being with another bank for about 10 years and never being satisfied, I switched to First Direct last year and have been genuinely surprised with everything since. The mobile app is really well built and easy to understand and it’s made my so much better at managing my money. I’ve had to speak to customer services on a few occasions and they’ve been helpful, polite and reassuring every time. Reviewed on: 9th March 2023

Over 30 years and still happy

Excellent service since those early days !

Having traded since their original opening as an established bank, as a subsidiary of HSBC, the remote telephone only and subsequent on line banking as been exemplary. Delighted with their personal service and handling of our accounts . Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

First Direct for excellent customer service

First direct current account

I first switched to first direct just over a year ago and have since found it to be a great platform. The switching bonus was nice but the platform itself provided useful insights and easy and straightforward applications to other first direct products (saver accounts etc) Reviewed on: 21st February 2025

App is a bit dated but great overall
