FirstDirect still doing the business in a personal way

First direct keep me informed without bombarding me relentlessly with emails and texts. They inform of product offerings, statements and interest rate changes in periodic and timely fashion. On the few occasions I need to call them on the phone their staff truly demonstrate why they have won so many customer service awards since 1989 Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

The best bank I have ever used

If I need to call First Direct, I very rarely have to wait more than a few seconds for an answer and the person who answers can usually deal with my request. If they don't have the information I need, they quickly pass me on to someone who can and they also make notes and pass on the details so that I don't have to repeat the request. Best Current Account I've Ever Had

I love this account and bank. They're so easy to contact on the phone- no pressing number options or queues. The online banking and app are great and user friendly. The overdraft is a bargain.
