FirstDirect still doing the business in a personal way

First direct keep me informed without bombarding me relentlessly with emails and texts. They inform of product offerings, statements and interest rate changes in periodic and timely fashion. On the few occasions I need to call them on the phone their staff truly demonstrate why they have won so many customer service awards since 1989 Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

First Direct for excellent customer service

First direct current account

I first switched to first direct just over a year ago and have since found it to be a great platform. The switching bonus was nice but the platform itself provided useful insights and easy and straightforward applications to other first direct products (saver accounts etc) Reviewed on: 21st February 2025

App is a bit dated but great overall

App is a bit dated and they’ve only recently added modern features like push notifications but works well as a bank and customer service is always excellent. Reviewed on: 17th February 2025

Excellent customer service.

Excellent customer service. I have had my main current account with FD for many years and although other banks may offer different/better rewards from time to time, I wouldn’t dream of switching this account. I have rung them at all hours of the day and night over the years and they answer quickly, are always friendly, understand my question straight away and provide a swift answer or fix.
