Great customer service

Have banked with the halifax for 20 years. The ease of getting anything sorted is superb. I bank online and the app is so easy to use, if I do need to ring for anything the call centre sort out queries in next to no time. The members of staff in my local branch are the best, always there to help with a smile. Reviewed on: 27th May 2019

disgusting service

years ago somebody at Halifax made a mistake which left me and my son without house insurance since my husband passed away. I was on the phone for over two and a half hours being redirected between 8 members of staff who refused to help me. then I was put through to 'customer services' in the Advantage Reward Account team who accosted me with zero sensitivity as if It's my fault that I didn't check to see if their staff had messed up. disgusting. Easy To Use

The online banking app makes it easy to keep up to date with your finances. You can also pay cheques up to £500 online now which saves a trip in to town. If you do need to go in to the branch the staff are always helpful and efficient. Reviewed on: 16th April 2019

Good current account

Halifax have served us well as a bank. The internet banking is very occasionally down for maintenance, but generally very good. My main complaint is that the monthly bonus has dropped from £5 to £2 which isn't very good. Reviewed on: 15th April 2019
