Great account

Great current account giving £5 reward each month plus cash back to be earnt using your debit card in certain stores. Very helpful in branch when setting up the account talking us through everything really well, can't fault them so far. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Monthly Bonus

Halifax has reduced its monthly bonus from £5 down to £3 and now down to £2 which has made me open an account with another bank whereby I get monthly interest on my balance. Reviewed on: 11th January 2019

The Halifax makes banking easy

I find the online banking easy to use and reliable. I am reminded by text how much I have in my account to make sure I have enough money t cover direct debits. This is very helpful indeed. The staff in my local bank in Penzance are efficient freindly and very helpful. Reviewed on: 6th January 2019

They do not care in the slightest

If I could dump them I would, when I was self employed and trying to establish a business they were worse than useless, I couldn’t in all honesty recommend anyone to bank with HBOS. I’ve been a customer of theirs since the 1980s and I am good at managing my finances but they don’t take that into account. Great Bank

I have a current account and I bank online. I love the website, it is especially easy to use & understand, and I feel it is very secure. I have my household direct debits all set up to be paid monthly and have never had a single problem. I am really happy with the service I receive fro the Halifax. Reviewed on: 5th January 2019
