Bad experience

Opened an account and told them I didn't want an overdraft, they put one on anyway without me knowing. Thinking my bank would stop me when I reached 0, I spent over the overdraft amount ended up with £400 bank charges. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2017

does what it says on the box :-)

Straightforward switching service and very good app. Makes all the accounts visible and simple to understand. Only disappointment is that they have just lowered the reward on the the reward account :-( Reviewed on: 3rd April 2017

I've been with the bank 30 plus years.

A breath of fresh air

I switched a year ago from another bank and I'm so glad I did. Halifax have fantastic customer service, much more personal and friendly. It's easy to speak to my branch rather than being redirected all over the place. The app does everything I need it to do and it's so easy to use.
