Complaint settled fairly and compensated.

I had a complaint regarding my Current Account slipping into the red for about 3 days and being charged for being over drawn despite having savings in my Account. Normally I would have received a text reminder on my mobile, however I had just changed providers and so was unaware of this. The Customer Services Department for Halifax rang back my home phone to discuss the complaint at my request. They not only listened to my concerns and set up my new mobile number for future text alerts they also re reimbursed the overdraft fees and as a measure of good will they gave me a £10 Credit as well! Very impressed with the Service, It does not normally pay to complain! Reviewed on: 4th January 2017

Halifax Hands Up

Halifax is great with most things, but customer service in branch isn't their forte. They are unhelpful and brusque, compared to telephone banking where they cannot do enough to help. In branch its too much hassle to do even the littlest thing!!!!! Reviewed on: 29th December 2016

A Very Good Bank

I have never had any issues with my Bank (Halifax) I think If I ever thought of leaving for another Bank they would have to offer me some fantastic incentives.Tgst really sums up my review. A truly great bank why would I want to leave. Reviewed on: 28th December 2016

Easy to manage, understand and use.

Won't let me switch!!!

Trying to switch a joint Santander 123 to Halifax (to get £100 bonus), but keep rejecting my request as they claim new account is not joint (even though Halifax website says it is). tried ringing helpline - no answer, no branch near me. Very disappointing. Reviewed on: 24th December 2016

I have to say that I have had a great experience with Halifax, their customer service team are easy to contact and answer all your queries timely. I joined halifax when they did the switch offer where you got £100 for switching banks. I'm glad I did! Reviewed on: 24th December 2016

Ultimate Satisfaction

Excellent Travel Insurance had purse stolen panic not sure what to do here to go. Superb customer service, stopped and replaced all the cards , made travel money available, where to report the crime and without hassle replaced all that was with the minimum fuss even the purse Reviewed on: 24th December 2016
