Great account

Great current account giving £5 reward each month plus cash back to be earnt using your debit card in certain stores. Very helpful in branch when setting up the account talking us through everything really well, can't fault them so far. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Fantastic customer service whichever branch I go into. Tea and coffee always offered and telephond banking very good and user friendly.

I love Halifax. They're always on hand 24/7 and telephone and online banking is great. Pick up time is usually very quick too. Reviewed on: 18th May 2016

switching was so easy and the benefits are great!

I felt my bank wasn't providing me with as much as others and after looking around I decided on Halifax. I was so impressed with how easy it was to switch. It was all done online and complete in no time, with regular text updates. The whole account has a lot more going for it than my previous one and I'm really glad I made the switch. Good online system and they pay me £5 a month - what more could you want?

I have no problems as at all with this account - it just works. From the online system to the branches, they are easy to deal with. The staffing can be an issue, but as they have paying-in machines in branch it's no hassle. Reviewed on: 13th May 2016

Halifax Switcher Current Account

I have recently switched current accounts using the Halifax switcher service. I am very impressed by the service that they have provided me with. Following my initial application online the current account was set up and all my direct debits and standing orders transferred from my existing bank within 10 days. As an incentive for opening the account £100.00 was also paid into my new account by the Halifax once the account was open. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Which other bank will pay you £5 bonus every month? Not only that if you are their new customer you get £100 incentive for transferring your existing current account to them. No other bank will you you that kind of bonus! No other bank will give you £5 bonus every month either. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Monthly nice little earner

I have one of these accounts - I need to pay in £750 per month and have 2 x Direct Debits coming out each month. In return, for staying in credit I get £5 per month credit from Halifax. That buys me 3 x books from my local charity shop to expand my bookshelf. . Whats not to like! Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

Fantastic App

I use the Halifax banking app daily to manage my current account .Just recently it has really improved and it is so easy to make transfers and pay all my bills all from the app.This is a great way to keep on top of your finances. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016
