Good Starting Place For Share Ownership

Fees are relatively high but H&L were a good place to start my years of investing. Once you get to know the basics move on to lower fee rate platforms but you will get less help and advice. You get what you pay for (sometimes) but H&L can give you a very easy ride. Reviewed on: 5th June 2018

Great Access, easy to use and but fees (including account closer fee) quite high

the Hargreaves Lansdown website is extremely accessible and easy to use, including a convenient app which can be used on the go. The website is clear to navigate but the fees charged are quite high in comparison to other sites and Stock ISA. I would recommend Hargreaves Lansdown. Reviewed on: 12th July 2017

Value for money share dealing

Rather than leave my capital in the bank or a savings account I have invested it in shares. Not everyone's cup of tea but I'm not risk adverse and can stomach small loses. So far though my investment is up 12% and I'm delighted with that. Reviewed on: 1st March 2017

Lng term satisfaction

I have used Hargreaves Lansdown for over 10 years. Initially all dealings were by phone but now of course it is internet. Really easy to use site. If you need to speak to them you are straight through to an expert who knows all the answers.
