My application for a fixed rate bond was dealt with quickly and efficiently. There was an issue about ID but a phone call with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff sorted it out without any fuss. Reviewed on: 25th September 2019

LONGEST TIME TO OPEN A SAVINGS ON RECORD

OPENING A SAVINGS ACCOUNT AS POA FOR MY MOTHER WHO HAS NOW MOVED INTO A CARE HOME. ONE PROBLEM WAS MY MOTHER HAS NO PROOF OF ADDRESS AS ALL CORRESPONDENCE IS SENT TO MY ADDRESS... SO YOU SHOULD BEAR THAT IN MIND FOR FUTURE APPLICATIONS.I KNOW WE ARE EXPERIENCING STRANGE TIMES AT THE MOMENT BUT STILL HAD TO STAND AND WAIT AT THE DESK FOR OVER AN HOUR WHILST APPROVAL WAS BEING SORT.... AT THE END WE HAD TO LEAVE WITHOUT A PASS BOOK WHICH HAS OBVIOUSLY TAKEN A WHILE TO GET HERE SO COULDN'T USE THE ACCOUNT WHILST WE WERE WAITING. AFTER BEING A LOYAL CUSTOMER AND HAVING MANY ACCOUNTS FOR OVER 30YEARS WITH YOU THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD. Reviewed on: 18th February 2021

recently opened a savings account with a fair rate of interest. No hassle with Pin numbers and made an appointment to complete transaction in branch thus avoiding possible queuing H&R or contact with other customers. Good quick old fashioned personal service. Excellent experience

The agent who dealt with us was very knowledgeable, extremely pleasant and very helpful with all the paperwork involved in opening a savings account for our grand daughter. We didn't find it straight forward at all, but the agent was very patient with us and was interested in us and our grand daughter as she ploughed through it all.
