Lady was lovely,

Lady was lovely, nothing too much trouble, listened to me and my brother rattling on , as mum had sadly died the year before, when I needed another account I had all the help I needed. Reviewed on: 20th October 2024

Good experience

1st time I have opened a savings account with Hinckley & Rugby BS , very impressed with service and speed of getting the account open. Will definitely look to use more often in the future. Reviewed on: 9th December 2020

Great in branch service

As a new customer I have just opened an account with the Hinckley and Rugby Building Society. I completed the form and had one question but the given phone number was just a recorded message telling me to use the 'contact us' facility on the website. I did this and 48 hours later have had no response. Fortunately I have a branch near to where I live and went in to ask. The lovely staff answered my question immediately and opened my account there and then so I didnt have to post the application. I look forward to dealing with them again in the future. Efficient and friendly service

The office dealt with my requests quickly and efficiently; I received an email the same day and postal communications arrived promptly. A very good society to deal with. Reviewed on: 9th December 2020

Only just opened a savings account so early days to make any comment.

Helpful staff

H&R still operate as a Building Society and not a bank, as an older member of society I appreciate the fact that I am not expected to use 'smart' methods of accessing the accounts held. Reviewed on: 9th December 2020

Dealt with efficiently even by post.

One of the few postal accounts available at a reasonably good interest rate and not too long notice required. Reviewed on: 7th December 2020

subscription to fixed rate bond

Very efficient dealing with them on phone and by post and competitive rate of interest. Only negative is that application form could not be downloaded so had to request it by phone but it came next day Reviewed on: 7th December 2020

Adequate cosidering the Covid problems.

I have had a savings account for a number of years with H&R BS. always fine to visit and good service. To many new pass books issued, ie one every year for the investment. I think the same one could be used for at least five years. Anyway that's all, Merry Christmas to all. Reviewed on: 3rd December 2020
