i have had several bank problems with money being taken from my account and hsbc have always been helpful and quick about getting my money into the account and

there have been two occurrences where money has gone missing from my account when it shouldn't have done. when I told HSBC they were very quick about paying the money back to me until they had resolved the problem. Reviewed on: 6th November 2015

They should improve their services .

Haven't had a problem for well over 10 years

I've been with them for over 10 years and have never had a problem. They've blocked large online payments before but I'd rather they do that in case my details ever get stolen! Reviewed on: 14th September 2015

One of the best banks with best services. Been a happy customer for 15 years!

HSBC has long since been a bank that has put it's customers satisfaction first. I say this because they will often waver fees just with a simple phone call. They also don't slap on huge fines because you go a few quid over your overdraft. They also occasionally call me to see if everything is ok and that I'm satisfied with their services as bank. Definitely one of the better banks out there, would recommend. Reviewed on: 30th August 2015

I have been a customer of HSBC for over 20 years now and I have never had a problem with them, they are courteous and helpful and most importantly don't bombard me with offers I don't need.

HSBC have proved that they can have exceptional customer service. Some banks bombard you with offers and phonecalls, but with HSBC I only receive what I want to receive. I have been with them for over 20 years, and find their customer service second to none. I rarely have to ring them but when I do they are polite and helpful. Frustrating

I've been with HSBC for over 15 years, and whilst I used it regularly during the initial stages, starting work meant I actually shopped around for accounts that suited me. Which inevitably meant I stopped using my HSBC account, and eventually my HSBC Credit Card (for one that provided Cashback). After many months of non-usage, my account was downgraded to a Basic Account, and a week later they announced the perks of having a HSBC Advance account - namely the £10 extra interest a month for having an Advance account + paying in £300 lump sum. So I decided to move my banking back to HSBC and upgrade account from Basic to Advance. Though this would be easy, unfortunately it was not. I could upgrade to Current Account, but for Current Account to Advance, they couldn't do it without me having put money into the account for at least two months (even though I had the salary slips to prove that I earn enough to satisfy their thresholds). In short, had to wait an extra two months and just about got the account upgraded to Advance in time to benefit from the perks. A week later, and it would have been goodbye HSBC again.
