Shocking

Used telephone banking to change my address as I have moved. The person I spoke to was not at all clear and spoke very quietly I asked them if they would talk louder but throughout the call they spoke very quietly. They told me after about half an hour that I had not passed the security questions and that the account was locked and I would have to go into a branch of the bank to rectify. The only branch in Northampton is in the town center is closed until 19th December?? My personal account details are being sent to the old address where all the occupants will now have access to my account?? Reviewed on: 25th November 2022

HSBC Global Account

I started to use HSBC Global Account especially when I am abroad because of the good exchange rates. No need to exchange and carry cash with you, just use your Global account debit card. Reviewed on: 18th February 2024

best bank around. despite being an oldie, they still do the job! There is more to being a bank than the challengers think they can get away with. Reviewed on: 15th February 2024

They dont care.

Me and my partner had a joint account together for bills. They locked it out without notice and barred all payments. They asked very invasive questions about who else we banked with. (None of there business) before unlocking the account. Tired to ask why they asked these questions and they said it was for security but it was marketing questions which they would not know the answer to. Very unhappy customer.
