Very helpful staff who go out of their way to help you (Kendal branch).

I travel a lot for work and I've often run into problems that HSBC has helped me out with. I once had my debit card stolen and it was difficult to get a replacement while I was abroad. However, the helpful staff at Kendal branch enabled me to get a new card promptly, and they also suggested making my mother a signatory to my account so that she can authorise such processes in the future should a similar situation arise. Appalling customer service

Whenever I go into my branch (Sheffield) for anything I am immediately directed to online banking. Staff refuse to assist in person, HSBC does not care about its customers any more. Reviewed on: 11th March 2023

Good Bank

I joined when they offered £200 to switch. Pleased with that. When an issue arose unconnected with that they acted extremely quickly. Reviewed on: 11th March 2023

Horrendous

Due to the sudden and unexpected death of my husband I have been dealing with a number of financial institutions, HSBC are by far the worst. Disrespectful, unhelpful and slow at a time when things could not be worse. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023

They used to be a lot better

I always used to love how easy it was to use or contact HSBC but now if I ever need to call them I am on hold for ages and any changes or questions I have are always difficult Reviewed on: 10th March 2023

Fair and helpful

I’ve struggled quite a bit as have many but they are very helpful and give you solutions without judging to the best of their abilities , I have been with them over 20 years , and I have had excellent service richer or poorer ! Many thanks HSBC I give you my vote Reviewed on: 10th March 2023
