Very helpful staff who go out of their way to help you (Kendal branch).

I travel a lot for work and I've often run into problems that HSBC has helped me out with. I once had my debit card stolen and it was difficult to get a replacement while I was abroad. However, the helpful staff at Kendal branch enabled me to get a new card promptly, and they also suggested making my mother a signatory to my account so that she can authorise such processes in the future should a similar situation arise. Hopelessly bad

It's not a good experience. They can't get their app to work to save their lives. Branch services are a joke, and phone lines are unhelpful Reviewed on: 24th January 2022

Not great - feels tired

HSBC are not as impressive as I had thought they were before becoming a customer. Many of their physical branches are closing down, the phone service is a bit variable, and the app is not user-friendly. Reviewed on: 21st January 2022

Excellent

Very pleased with the service i receive from my bank. The physical building is staffed by helpful, knowledgeable people, and the online process is simple and easy. Would recommend highly. Reviewed on: 20th January 2022

Service deteriorates each time I have to deal with them
