Impressive Mortgage process

The mortgage process went well, in particular the valuation was done quite quickly. The mortgage advisor was very helpful, in fact during the process when I was abroad she made sure she contacted me on the temporary number I gave her. However, my only frustration was after the valuation when I was told everything was ok, it took a while for the team to officially confirm/ send docs over to me. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2024

Won’t let us remortgage!!!

I have a mortgage with leek and want to remortgage so I can swap my sister with my husband on it. My husband has moved in and is paying her half and she has agreed to pass the deed to him 100% and you will not lend us the full amount absolutely disgusting considering we already pay the mortgage!!!!! customer service is awful too Reviewed on: 17th February 2024

Upfront and reliable!

Upfront and reliable! Notifications are in sent in reasonable time full disclosure as to why rates may rise but also come down appropriately too. When we came to a point of looking to re-mortgage leek we’re still the cheapest option for us so we remained with them. Reviewed on: 17th February 2024

Great Customer Service and Communication

The mortgage we have had through Leek was at a competitive rate, the communication via post and email is always excellent and the online portal they use is very simple and helpful. Whenever we have got in touch with Leek they have always responded in a timely and helpful manner. Sometimes the online contact option isn't as effective as calling Leek directly but all in all they are very helpful. Annual statements are clear and detailed and always arrive on time so this is really helpful. The website does need to be a little easier when it comes to looking at new and different products as it can sometimes be a little hard to decipher, however again if you contact Leek direct they will explain it fully and help. In short Leek in my experience have been a very helpful, conscientious and competitive company that has a feel of customer service first. Reviewed on: 17th February 2024

A real example as to how lending should be.

A real example as to how lending should be. I struggled to get a mortgage with automatic underwriting and the human touch element was amazing.
