Very difficult to downgrade the account

Really easy to apply for a product you need to pay for. Problems start when you try to downgrade the account or cancel the overdraft. Bank is making the whole process very difficult, completely not interested in customers needs. Would never recommend to bank with Lloyds. Reviewed on: 28th November 2016

Great added value

I think the Club Lloyds account offers great added value as you get to pick from a range of offers and don't actually have to pay anything for the account as long as you meet the minimum monthly amount you need to pay. For example as my reward I chose the six free Vue cinema tickets which when you consider the cost of the attending the cinema now is a great bonus. Reviewed on: 27th November 2016

So i woke up today on the 16th of november and had to catch the train to bristol for work but half an hour before my train which was at 9:30 i decided to go to lloyds bank to put some money in at 9:00am as i did not have enough money to get it however on the door of the bank its says opening times 9-5 everyday, yet the manager would not let me in as his staff werent ready my solution to this is get them in earlier so the members of the public can go in straight away at 9:00am when they actually need to because due to this i have now probably lost my job because some idiots dont want to get up early in the morning to sort their shit out!!!! This has now got to change otherwise i will be leaving lloyds bank and thats a fact!! Reviewed on: 16th November 2016

Great bank

I've been with Lloyds for 10 years I've never had any issues, I've read others complaining of unplanned overdraft fees well it's written in black and white so it's your choice to go into an unplanned overdraft and rack up those fees. I've been in a DMP for 6 years and ensured I stayed on track paying back debts and keeping in credit in my account, I've applied for an planned overdraft a few times and rightly so got turned down, I'm now in a better job have sorted myself out financially and Lloyds have agreed a £1,500 unplanned overdraft. I now have credit cards which I use and pay in full to avoid charges - so it's no good complaining and reviewing the bank as bad when you do not manage your finances Reviewed on: 15th October 2016

Appalling service

Even doing the most mundane, regular activities with your debit card (online supermarket shop, every week, in my case) will lead to your card being frozen as fraudulent. You can then expect to spend in excess of 1 1/2 hours on hold to resolve the issue. Avoid them at all costs. Reviewed on: 25th September 2016
