Closed my account with no reason given

Lloyds Bank closed both my Current account and Business account. No reason given. Demanded that I repay my overdraft within 30 days. It's ridiculous that banks are allowed to do this and give no explanation at all or give you a chance to explain any actions that may have aroused suspicions. Reviewed on: 28th March 2026

Helped me to get my money back

They were really helpful when I faced an issue related to fraud. My account got scamed by a fraudster and I lost all my money. The customer service team too their time and helped me to recover it instantly. Reviewed on: 24th March 2026

Lloyds is just simple, easy, and really helpful.

Yes guys! So far for those two years I never have any problem with Lloyds (but with my previous bank, I'll add as N/C). When you go to Lloyds branch there is always assistant asking you what service you need today. Also inside in Lloyds they have useful machines that you can put money, cheques, etc. Overall very well made bank with long traditional methods with a pinch of modernity. Very happy with my current account at Lloyds.

Very happy with my current account at Lloyds. I'm with them for 14 years and I have nothing to complain. The app is easy to use and when someone tried to make some shopping with my card information ( with some lost data from a retailer ), they stopped the sale and inform me immediately.
