Blocking accounts and closing banks at 15.30pm is WICKED!

My account was blocked. I called the fraud team who would not give me no information into why it was blocked, I was just told to present myself and photo identification in bank. If Lloyd's Bank are going to be blocking customers account for whatever reason they also need to stay open long enough for customers to get to the bank!!! 15.30pm is ridiculous. Especially when you one does not carry cash. Time for a change, Metro opens on Sundays. Reviewed on: 19th January 2022

Mixed feelings

Online banking is brilliant but branch service is now greatly reduced, those that are open are pretty good when you can find one. Savings accounts are disgusting and only used by those who are challenged in some way. Keep trying to trap me into going paperless. Reviewed on: 17th January 2022

Easy to use

I opened this account less than a year ago for paying bills etc. I didn't need anything fancy just seeing money going in and out and also having the facility of checking upcoming payments. It's done what it said it would Reviewed on: 13th January 2022

I have held a Classic Lloyds account for 30 years and never had any trouble with it, but last year the bank stepped up to the mark and went over and above when someone tried to scam me out of £5000. I knew nothing of what was going on until someone from the bank contacted me. I called them back using the number on the back of my debit card, as advised by them in emails. I was told that someone was trying to send money to an account in the Phillipines and they wanted to check that I was authorising this! They took time to explain what was going on, and when it was confirmed this was nothing to do with me, they blocked the transfer, then helped me close down the account and open a new classic account. I really feel that they went over and above anything I would have expected them to do. Reviewed on: 9th January 2022

Ideal for everyday banking

Opened a new account last year as needed to close my previous one. Easy Process, understanding staff and account meets all my needs. I manage finances via the mobile app which is quick and convenient. I don't pay any fees as meet the requirements for amount paid in Reviewed on: 5th January 2022

poor security

My mobile app locked me out. I requested a "one time password" to reset. It was received after to 30 limit from being sent. No worries as all I did was delete the app, reload and hey presto, it worked fine. I thought banks are supposed to have secure systems Reviewed on: 6th October 2021

Always been very helpful

The online banking is easy to use, works well and you can check your account/s whenever you wish. It's easy to make transfers and you can contact them either online via the chat link or the usual ways such as a phone call or visit a branch of course. I've always found the staff in the branches very helpful and nice, which makes it a pleasure to deal with them. Reviewed on: 30th August 2021
