Never needed to change

Easy to manage

Pretty good

It's the only bank I've ever used, but they're pretty good, and I've never been annoyed by any of the service given to me, either in person, over the phone or online. That should be the highest praise one could give. Reviewed on: 6th November 2018

Great!

I have been with Lloyd’s bank and had a classic account since I was 19 years old and I have never had a problem. I like the little added extras like getting money back from purchases you have made from certain shops or companies. Also the online banking app is so easy and simple to use! Always there to help

A few years ago I was quite ill and in and out of the hospital. This meant I was bed bound and unable to go to work, which at the time was a cash in hand job and meant I didn't get any sick pay. From rent and bills I went into my emergency overdraft quickly and was charged fees for this service. I rang up as I didn't know what the fees were and after I explained my situation they wrote off my overdraft fees straight away. Reviewed on: 6th November 2018

Good customer service, poor criterias

Great customer service they always help whenever you need it as much as they can. Unfortunately their internal lending criteria allows customers too easily to overstretch themselves for borrowing, and the recent changes to their overdraft fee structure caused a lot of problems for those deep into an overdraft! Helping hand

I find banking app simple and easy to use with very quick transfers between accounts.. my local branch have always he super helpful from giving me advice about finances to printing months worth of bank statement with no charge they even stapled them and gave me a envelope... ive never had a problem with charges ...massive thumbs up from me Reviewed on: 2nd September 2018

Unhelpful!

I really wanted to open a bank account with Lloyds. I went back there for four times and everytime they all said something different about my documents. The 3rd time my NI number letter didn’t have my recent address on there but proof of address was all fine. The 4th time she said that they cannot accept the proof of address whilst the other lady said that the letter was acceptable!!!! 4 times I went back and the last time (Friday afternoon at Commercial Road, Portsmouth) the lady was so bitchy she didn’t help me at all that is awful customer service!!! I opened an account with Santander and they were so helpful! Don’t go to Lloyds they apparently don’t want any new customers. Reviewed on: 28th July 2018
