To apply for a London Capital Credit Union loan, you must first join as a member.

You have to pay your first deposit of £20 minimum to your London Capital Credit Union savings account before any loan funds can be paid to you. You can borrow between £200 and £30,000 (£40,000 if you’re a homeowner).

Positive experience

Fantastic Service

I have saved with credit union for years and applying for my recent loan was very easy and it was processes really quickly and the money was made available. I like that I can pay off the loan and also continue to save. I also have the flexibility to pay the loan off sooner if I wish to. It is a fantastic service. Reviewed on: 8th July 2025

Quick, friendly, straightforward support

I applied for a loan from London Captial Credit Union following a bout of financial hardship after two bereavements in my family. The terms of the loan were very agreeable and allowed me to maintain my basic needs while I repay. If I hadn’t found this option, I would have landed in very hot water with my credit card company and taken a huge hit on my credit score. As a single woman this loan is structured to help me through this difficult time annd not completely mess up my future credit. For that I’m very grateful. The staff have been more than helpful and really friendly during what can usually be a stressful and shameful time. I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs a cushion during a rough ride.
