Communication could be a bit better.

There was some confusion over payment days which has lead to a bad mark on my credit history. So communication wasn't the absolute best. Also, my new mortgage rate comes into effect now-ish and I've had no communication regarding that. Reviewed on: 10th February 2025

Self build barn conversion

Despite all that’s happened with Covid-19 our mortgage was offered on the day the UK closed down - Mansfield Allowed us to extend the offer during lock down and then swiftly reopened the application after The extended period once’s all relevant financial checks had been confirmed we completed in Several weeks Mortgages Do take time - with Mansfield it was easier and always communicated with us Reviewed on: 10th September 2020

Good rates & good service

I have been Mansfield's mortgage customer for 2 years. The interest rates were good, communications easy, and customer service good too. There was always somebody on the other end of the telephone line, even during the lock-down. Overall a very positive experience. Reviewed on: 18th August 2020

Honest Building Society

Mansfield were excellent, they looked at our circumstances on an individual basis an allowed us to buy our 1st home, I will always be appreciative of them and their help, I wanted to stay with Mansfield however financially it was unfortunately better to move our mortgage elsewhere. Excellent service for the older borrower.

Mansfield gave us a mortgage when our own banks would not due to age restrictions even though we had excellent credit ratings. An excellent service with competitive interest rates which I would recommend to anyone. Reviewed on: 11th August 2020
