poor communication-long wait on 16 th October 2025 .

My Bond matured on 16 th October 2025 . I filled n the form , expressing my wishes (reinvest some and a cheque for the rest). I didn’t receive any confirmation that my pass book and form had been received.Then last Tuesday I had an email from MBS thanking me for reinvesting and asking How did we do?. At this point I had received no comms, no passbook and no cheque. On Friday 7th November I decided to visit the Mansfield branch. I was told that a cheque had been posted to me on 4th , and a suggestion was made that I wait till the following Monday , as it might come then. (Which it did). So in summary I’m disappointed with communication-and I think I should have had my cheque straight after the maturity date not today the 10th november Reviewed on: 10th November 2025

We are a charity and used Mansfield as a deposit for our funds raised. Not very often, about once or twice a year we would ask for information, such as the annual interest certificate for our account, a requirement for the accountants.. every time we or particularly me tried to interact with Mansfield, I had to jump through hoops to even be told MY national insurance number was wrong!! yet on other occasions - no problem. Things I asked for were never sent, letters I sent to Mansfield regarding change of address for myself, they say they never received.. Mansfield is just hard work. Reviewed on: 7th November 2025

A safe place to invest

I invested a large amount of money with Mansfield and so was a bit anxious about it's safety. The communication that was always provided by Mansfield staff meant that I was always reassured that I was dealing with a reputable organisation and that I had invested wisely. Mostly good.

Some of your systems are a bit outdated but the person I spoke with said they are being updated. what I do like is that there’s the minimum of contact with the customer, no oppressive marketing. Reviewed on: 4th November 2025
