Very supportive and helpful Building Society

Very supportive telephone support. When I call and you are very busy, you ask for my number and a message and Always call back. I am an octogenarian, and not very familiar with phone and postal contact only, but Mansfield make it easy for me with your patient courteous support and assistance. I requested a trustee a/c when I opened my savings a/c but was told that option wasn't available. That is not s good policy IMHO as: 1) when I die (and I AM old) then my executor, my son, wouldn't know the purpose of the account which is as trustee for my dead partners wife (I'm the executor of his estate & 2) HMRC might hold an enquiry and then the above would also apply. I do understand that the interest rate is often reduced when this facility is offered, but I do feel nonetheless that the option should have been made available Reviewed on: 26th March 2024
