Perfect Service Every Time

I went to the Cwmbran branch of MBS 6 years ago as a first time buyer, the lady who arranged our mortgage was so helpful and explained everything beautifully, we took out a 3 year fixed and when it came time we went back to renew it and with the help of the advisor ended up taking 7 years off our mortgage and signing up for another 5 year fixed, the service is always amazing which is why we also have our savings there and we’ve just added a new member to our family so we’ve opened him a young saver too! Best mortgage

Being older other big building societies were less flexible on the age that they will lend till. Monmouthshire have accepted that older customers are valuable. Reviewed on: 12th November 2019

So easy to contact and speak to someone about an application.Always had clear step by step information and decisions without having to contact them constantly.My and my husbands experience was always pretty straightforward,resulting in a step by step calm process without the usual frustrations! Poor contact centre

When I was moving home they did not help service a new mortgage. I needed. Mortgage offer to know the new mortgage amounts. They couldn't book me in for 2 weeks, so the house I wanted would've gone. I was able to get hold of multiple other mortgage providers instantly and perform an instant quote, yet Monmouthshire, who I was already with, couldn't give me a quote for over 2 weeks and then eventually I had a much cheaper offer elsewhere. Amazing experience

I recommend Monmouthshire building society to every person I can. With their help I was able to buy first house at 22, which is not an easy feat in the current housing market.
